Day 2

Early rise for us (Dave/Gareth/Steve and me ) , 5.30 am ! Everyone else will be snoring their heads off no doubt!!

Breakfast served from 6.30am at the Pinecrest Inn , a short walk from the hotel.

Everyone playing Pinehurst No 8 later on at 11.00am .

Off to breakfast at 7.30 ,nice to see Wendy the waitress who served us in 2020 , she was pleased to see us and talked about her Scottish ancestry. Eggs Benedict were very tasty indeed , Steve opted for the full breakfast also a good choice. Only Struan and Sean had been for breakfast , they were keen to get over to No 8 to have a practice. All the rest came along in dribs and drabs.

We all made our way to No 8 to get a practice before teeing off however there seemed to be a bit of a mix up in that there were no tee times for us , oh no ! Not to worry it was all sorted and we got out. The weather was fantastic , very warm at times , a bit of a long haul for the oldies lol. Played ok managed a few pars , greens fast but not so furious! The young ones took it in their stride enjoying it very much and all set for The Winternationals tomorrow. First tee off at 9.00am.

Supposed to visit the Golf Pride factory after the golf today but due to the mix up we have just postponed till later in the week. Everyone has just gone back to the hotel and condo to chill until we go to the Mall at 6 .

All on time tonight and ferried to the Mall. A visit to the supermarket to get a few essentials. You'd think there'd be a good few restaurants to choose from , guess where we ended up --- yes Maccy D's !!!

Back to hotel and condo , now relaxing with a beer and glass of vino.

Up early in the morning for the big competition !
