Early start for some. 7 o'clock breakfast for Ryan, Joe and Jamie ! On the tee at 8.30 at Longleaf for the Winternationals.
The rest ate at 7.45 .
It's a chilly one today. No skorts today for the girls!
Arrived for practice around 8.30.
Some started at the 1st and some at 10th.
Saw Riley and Scott off at the 1st, Riley obviously not feeling the
cold in his short sleeve polo shirt!
Sue and I then had a run round in the buggy to catch some of the play
then in for a coffee stop.
Some serious shopping back at Pine Needles for Sue, Gareth and Steve.
Went back out on the course to follow the girls on their last 5 holes.
Scores began to come in but no one was pleased with how they played , still another day tomorrow , can't be too despondent.
Back early to get changed for the BBQ at the boys but before going to the house we stopped off at Nancy's . Nancy and JJ hosted some of the boys in 2020 and are good friends of Dave.
We saw their beautiful new dog Molly, a cross between a golden labrador retriever who was a rescue dog . The girls also got a tour of their wine cellar, over 8000 bottles of wine, amazing !!
Off to the BBQ and what a feast it was , thanks to Charles Gregg and his wife Cami and to Nancy for the tasty desserts.
Good night ,lots of fun although still waiting on a duet from Riley and Louise !!
Big day again tomorrow , shotgun start at 9.30.
