Day 8

Another busy day ahead, up and away at 7.30 heading for breakfast at Pinecrest Inn .Once breakfast was over we all went to Dicks Sporting Goods but some of us managed to get lost however with my navigator Kate beside me managed to get there only to find the rest of the group leaving the store as it was closing down and there wasn't a lot on offer!

Back in the car again , on our way to the HQ of Golf Pride .A tour given by Katie ,very informative.

Some of us even took the opportunity to get our clubs re-gripped at a reasonable cost.

Practice day at Longleaf to be match fit for tomorrow but before heading down we went back to the house to pick up our clubs and whilst waiting on everyone getting ready some of the boys took the opportunity of showing us their rugby moves !!

Off to Longleaf, Dave, Steve and Gareth dropped off some of the boys before making their way to play at Pine Needles. Sue and I were in charge !

After seeing the groups off Sue and I headed to Bottle Brush par 3 course ,went round 3 times

We then followed the groups until light faded and we had to take them off. Got all the girls bags into the car whilst we waited on Dave,S and G coming to pick the boys up then Kate told me her rucksack was in the ladies locker room and the whole place was shut !! Luckily the guy was still around cleaning the carts so I very kindly asked if there was any way we could get in to get the bag? He showed us how to get there but there were no lights but fortunately Sue had her phone to show us the way to find them !

PHEW!!

Joe then says my shoes are in there too aaagghhh!!! Yip we had to get in there again and get them lol.

Back to Pinehurst Brewery for tea but no room for us ! Instead onto Pinehurst Pizza, pretty good pizzas even with tomato ketchup Gareth!!🍕🍕🍕 Early night for everyone , got home to Kathy and Tom's and the girls watched a movie and I had a chat with Kathy over a glass of vino 🍷.
