Day 3

Another great day in Pinehurst.

All very exciting for us all.

Up earlyish but a little more tme to spare.

Down to Pinecrest Inn for brekkie, thought I'd try French toast , mm very nice .

First day for me driving , all good .

Up to Pinehurst No 8 with Dave to get everything ready, Steve and Gareth were having a relaxing day today, having a trip to the shops and buying far too much , well G was !!

First tee off time was 9.00 and that was Ben A . Everyone off by 11.00am, spent day buzzing about the course making sure all the players had plenty water and snacks .

Alot of good golf to be seen today and our best score of the day at 3 over was Sean followed by Ben A with +7 and Andrew a +8 and in the girls Evie was top scorer with +11.

Although they were all a bit disappointed everyone thoroughly enjoyed the golf and are really looking forward to day 2 - hoping the weather forecasters have got it wrong !

All back to hotel and condo , meeting at 5pm to go to the Pinehurst Brewery, thought it best to go there after last nights debacle lol.!

Lovely to meet with Eric and Linda Carrier - sorry that I spilled a drink over you Linda !!

It was great to hear all about Linda's marathon challenges . What a lady !!!

It was a nice surprise to see JJ too - some of the boys stayed at his and Nancy's home when we were over in 2020. Look forward to catching up with him again in a few days.

Another lovely meal and a big thank you to Eric for speaking with the staff to get us all together!

Back home , well not quite , made stop at a wee bar in Pinehurst before going home - a random girl at the bar bought our round - how nice ,all boys and girls safely back at hotel under supervision of Helen and Stuart . All being well behaved, some going to pool and some practising their putting in the hallway!

Still raining as we speak , hope everything ok for tomorrow ! Night night !!!
