Day 6

What a glorious start to a day !!

Blue skies, what more can you ask for??

We're up to the Village Deli for brekkie , ordered french toast and bacon? It certainly was a plate and a half!

On our way to Forest Creek we stopped off at Harris Teeters for snacks for the golf as the half way house wasnt going to be open today.

What a welcome we got on our arrival at Forest Creek. They were so pleased to see our group from Scotland. Firstly a quick visit to the golf shop where a few purchases were made before going to the locker rooms ,wao !

The ladies room was something else ! All very plush ! You could pick up free bottled water, there was an ice machine , teas , coffees, polo mints , mixed nuts, m+ms that you could fill up with before you went out on the course.

A fantastic course, the best so far.

The 4 Teams were made up with our hosts and leaders, Rich, Tom ,Steve and Gareth whilst Sue and I had the pleasure of being in a team with Dave.

Winners today were Anna, Ryan, Angus and Rich , well done !

After the 18th there is an extra hole called the Hog Hole and its a tricky par 3 over a stretch of water so Dave had a nearest the pin and it was good fun to see how many players made it over without sploshing in the water ! Well done Rory Leitch for nearest the pin and for the girls well done to Kate .

Goodbye to Forest Creek an experience the juniors will never forget!

A quick dash back to get changed for dinner at the Sly Fox. Whilst at Forest Creek Kathy spied that Anna had a Corgi head cover so thought that would be a good photo opportunity to take a photo of Callum with Anna and her headcover !

20 mins to get changed and then get over to the boys house to proceed in convoy to the restaurant. We made it !

Early night tonight ,straight back to our houses. A good blether with Kathy and then the girls took a shot at piloting a flight from Pinehurst to Raleigh and back again on Tom's flight simulator with safe landings!! ✈️✈️ How exciting!
