Early early start today first tee off 8.00am , girls up and sitting having breakfast at Kathys at 6.50! Pancakes all round, made by Chef Tom ,all very tasty. Thank you !

Off to Longleaf at 7.30, girls first to arrive, dry but windy (getting us prepared for returning home)🤣.

All the boys arrived soon after.

Today they are playing singles for the Findlay Cup.

1st group away at 8am.

Begins to spit spot ,by the time the leaders were off it was coming down quite heavily.

Not very pleasant at all, got to first green and decided to call it a day, it was chucking it down ! The guys in the pro shop got the players off the course in the shuttles , all looked like drooked rats!

All back to houses to dry out.

Looks like its going to be possibly a shopping afternoon , well they do have to get the pressies to bring home 🤣 , might visit Donald Ross museum and pay a visit to JJ's wine cellar 🍷🍷🍷

Will report back later ......

Just back from Harris Teeters after having some lunch and getting some goodies to take home.

A quick stop off at Pinehurst No 2 to browse the shop and pick up some last minute gifts.

Now at JJs, had a tour of the wine cellar , oh what a time we had lol 🤣🤣🤣

So we left JJ's in total awe.

Their house is just amazing.

A lovely and generous couple.

Thank you for the nibbles and showing us around.

From JJ's we went to the Donald Ross museum only to find it closes early on a Friday. We did however go to a memorobilia shop where we were very warmly greeted by Tom Stewart whose grandfather came from Scotland.

Forgot to mention earlier when the girls came back to Tom and Kathys he told us all about the Stack system and all about swing speed , Evie and Ellie tested it out and both got over 90 and Evie got it to 100! Enter Shona and she only managed 60!! Oh to be young and supple😂😂😂

Boys went to Forest Creek to spend more money !

Girls went to Bath and Body Works to stock up on their lotions and potions.

Back to our houses to start packing😪.

Last supper tonight , headed down to the Sly Fox for dinner. We had the back room to ourselves and after our meal Daniel said thank you to Dave on behalf of all the players and presented him with a Pinehurst flag with everyones signature.

Home to bed for another early rise .Tee times at the Winternationals at Longleaf at 8.30 so breakfast early and all luggage ready to be uplifted !
